Thank you so much for contributing to help make ministry at Messiah happen. You can give in a variety of ways outlined below:
Online Giving
Messiah offers online giving through Tithely. You can sign up to give weekly, monthly, or yearly, or contribute to special events/collections like our Benevolence of the Month or Easter/Christmas flowers.
Offering Plate
While we no longer pass the plate during worship on Sundays, the plate is always available in the Narthex if you choose to bring a gift with you to church.
Bank Check
You can have your bank authorize a check to Messiah Lutheran Church straight from your account. Some members opt to send contributions weekly, monthly, or yearly through this method and the check comes directly to Messiah on your behalf.
Mail it in
If you don’t want your bank to authorize a check, you can always mail one to the church directly from your home. You’ll want to address the envelope to Messiah Lutheran Church, 228 Ramapo Valley Road, Oakland, NJ 07436.
Thrivent Choice Dollars
Are you a Thrivent Member? You can designate your “Choice Dollars” to go directly to Messiah Lutheran Church. Each Thrivent Member can also apply for two (2), $250 Thrivent Action Teams to be used as seed money for ministry and projects. Talk to your Thrivent rep today or let us know if you need help!
Thrivent Action Teams
These $250 Action Teams support a lot of ministry at Messiah! In the last few years we’ve used Action Teams for faith formation, worship, outreach, service projects, and so much more. Contact the office if you’re a Thrivent member and want to use your Action Teams!
