The Rev. Courtney Smith Westerlund, Pastor
Pastor Courtney (she/her) graduated from United Lutheran Seminary in Philadelphia + Gettysburg, PA, with a Master of Divinity in May 2021. She was called as Pastor of Messiah in August 2021 and was ordained as an ELCA Rostered Minister on November 13. She grew up in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, received her B.S. in Family and Human Services, Nonprofit Management from Towson University, and served as an ELCA Young Adult in Global Mission in South Africa. Pastor Courtney’s favorite book of the Bible is Luke, her favorite color is yellow, and her favorite flower is the sunflower.
