Center For Food Action – Mahwah, NJ
February Benevolence of the Month
We donate much needed food all year long to the Center For Food Action in Mahwah. While providing food packages ($4,000,000 worth in 2102) and weekend snack packs to 520 children weekly, the CFA also helps in many other ways. Since Super Storm Sandy devastated this area the CFA helped with food, cleaning supplies and supermarket gift cards and continue to provide essential services. Giving assistance with housing, utility, and heating needs is part of their mission. Single parent homes, senior citizens, and working families are the recipients of CFA help. Monetary donations are extremely critical to provide for needs other than food. Go to their website www.cfanj.org to see who they are helping.
